umm... Cream of Nature Shampoo for Dry and Brittle Hair. It's so amazing that you don't even need conditioner after. That's what the bottle used to say.... they only changed what the bottle says when the company invented a conditioner. But seriously you don't even need a conditiner after it--BUT you should use one especially if you are going to straighten your hair.My hair is thick and quite curly and frizzy..wat shampoo can make my hair soft and straight?
I would try looking for a cosmetologist that specializes in African American hair. I know it sounds funny but, they could direct you to inexpensive perms that could permanently straighten your hair. You would have to go back for a touch up every sixty to ninety day's
i have super super curly and frizzy hair, and to add insult to injury, i also colour my hair.

first off, do not over shampoo your hair- you don't need to shampoo every time you hop in the shower. you can condition alone.

i shampoo my hair approximately once a week, sometimes even less than that. i use a good shampoo (rusk moist), and the best conditioner i have found is dove (and ive tried boatloads! cheap ones and expensive ones).

what it really comes down to is product. i swear by phyto relaxing balm, combined with bumble and bumble curl cream.

stop trying to fight the curls! embrace your curly headed self!

good luck!
get the dangerously straight shampoo from pantene

it makes it striaghten nicely and keeps your hair healthy
well it depends.

but you just have to look Maybe even go to like a hairstylist and just ask them and see what they recommend.

but you can try things like anti frizz shampoos and stuff but you have to maybe try a few things before you find the right thing.

but there's no problem in trying.
i like the garnier fruitesse sleek and shine system because i have the same problem!

i really haven't come across any other methods to straighten your hair, but brushing it well while it air drys helps a lot. also letting it dry when it is down and straight instead of while your asleep and bunched up on a pillow.

whenever you straighten your hair use a heat-protecting spray so it isn't damaged. herbal essence makes a good, cheap one.

also blow-drying your hair straightens it as well, but it will be poofy-er.

good luck :)

and try not to straighten your hair too much!

ask your hair-cutter for other tips and styles that will help your hair (layers are great!)
My hair's fine and curly and can be frizzy, and I have a whole mess of it.

I've thined it out with a razor before. Worked pretty well to lay it down flat.

And sleep with it in a ponytail helps.

But dude, you can't fight your hair. Once I let it be and stoped blow drying and straightening a lot of people were saying, ';You're looking pretty today, Kate.'; And that felt really good.
